Terms

The short version: pay for the time you want, cancel when you like, and check the figures before you offer.

Who runs it

The deal screener is run by Datestone, which is operated at datestone.io. You can reach us through the contact form at datestone.io/contact, and a person reads it.

How we handle your details is in Datestone’s privacy notice.

What you get

A plan opens the full screener: every red line for a flat or a house; how the numbers add up; the Deal calculator: holiday lets, company tax, and what if occupancy changes; print, one clean page per tab. The free check on the home page stays free.

If you subscribe to Datestone, the screener is included while your subscription lasts.

Billing and renewal

  • Monthly: £9.99 a month. It renews each month until you cancel.
  • Yearly: £79 a year. It renews each year until you cancel.
  • 3-month pass: £24, one payment. It lasts three calendar months from the day you pay, and doesn’t renew.

Payments are taken by Stripe. You’ll see the price before you pay.

Cancelling

Cancel a monthly or yearly plan any time from your account page, under Manage your plan. It stops at the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you keep access until then. The pass ends on its date.

Your 14-day right to cancel

Buying digital content online usually gives you 14 days to change your mind. The screener opens as soon as you pay, so at checkout we ask you to agree to that and to confirm you understand you then lose the 14-day right to cancel. If you’d rather keep it, don’t buy yet.

The HATTIE code

The code HATTIE makes the first month of the monthly plan free, for customers buying for the first time. After that month the plan renews at £9.99 a month unless you cancel. It doesn’t apply to the pass or the yearly plan.

Not advice

The deal screener is a screening tool, not financial advice. Check the figures with your broker, solicitor, and surveyor before you offer.
